Terms

These terms govern use of the Common Ledger website. Client services are governed by a separate written proposal, statement of work, engagement letter, or agreement.

Website Information

The information on this site is for general informational and marketing purposes. It may not apply to every association, state, governing document, accounting setup, or platform configuration.

No Legal, Tax, Audit, or CPA Advice

Common Ledger provides accounting operations, bookkeeping, reporting support, and virtual administration services. Unless separately stated in a signed agreement, we are not acting as your law firm, CPA firm, auditor, tax preparer, reserve specialist, or investment adviser. Boards should consult their CPA, attorney, tax adviser, insurance adviser, and other professionals as needed.

Platform Independence

Common Ledger is an independent service provider. References to PayHOA, AppFolio, Buildium, QuickBooks, or other platforms describe software experience and supported workflows. Third-party names, trademarks, logos, and product images remain the property of their respective owners and are shown only to identify platforms Common Ledger supports. Common Ledger is not owned by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those companies unless a written partnership is later announced.

Inquiries and Proposals

Submitting a form or scheduling a consultation does not create a client relationship. Pricing shown on this site is a starting point and may change based on door count, platform, cleanup needs, reporting scope, administration scope, and other engagement details. Any software-cost coverage offer is subject to the written proposal or service agreement and may exclude payment processing, postage, optional add-ons, third-party integrations, resale charges, homeowner-paid fees, and similar pass-through costs.

Acceptable Use

You may not use this site to transmit unlawful, harmful, misleading, or malicious content; interfere with site operations; or attempt unauthorized access to systems, forms, or data.

Limitation of Liability

The website is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Common Ledger disclaims liability for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on general website information.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date above reflects the latest version posted on this site.
